Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of dwwt (“Did we win today?”, the “Service”, “we,” “us,” “our”), an independently run site. By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. What dwwt is

dwwt answers one question for the teams you follow: did we win today. It shows scores, schedules and results across a range of leagues and motorsport and tennis series, and offers optional extras to signed-in users: a personal dashboard, browser notifications, a calendar feed of your fixtures, and a read-only personal API.

2. Not affiliated, and not the source

Scores and schedules are aggregated from third-party sports data sources. We do not control them and cannot guarantee they are accurate, complete or current.

3. Accuracy, and what not to rely on this for

Live data can be wrong, delayed, or missing. Upstream sources go down, rate-limit us, or report a game incorrectly, and results are sometimes revised after the fact.

Do not rely on dwwt where being wrong matters, including betting, wagering, fantasy decisions with money attached, or anything else with financial or legal consequence. The Service is provided for general interest.

4. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Provide accurate information, keep your credentials to yourself, and tell us if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

5. Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Scrape, bulk-download, resell or redistribute data from the Service, including through the personal API.
• Share an API or calendar token so others can use your feed as a data source. Both are for your own use.
• Poll the Service at a rate that burdens it, or work around rate limits.
• Attempt to breach, probe or disrupt the Service or other people's accounts.
• Use the Service unlawfully, or to infringe anyone's rights.

We may rate-limit, suspend or remove access that breaks these rules or threatens the Service.

6. Your personal API and calendar feed

Tokens are issued for your own use and give read access to the teams you follow and their scores. Treat one like a password. You can reset either at any time, which immediately stops anything using the old one. These endpoints are provided as-is and may change or be withdrawn.

7. Notifications

If you switch alerts on, we send notifications through your browser's push service for games involving the teams you follow. Delivery depends on your device, browser and operating system, and cannot be guaranteed. Turn them off in Settings, or in your browser or system settings, at any time.

8. Your content and our content

The Service's own code, design and text belong to us. Third-party sports data, crests and photographs belong to their owners. Your account content, meaning your followed teams and preferences, remains yours; you grant us only the permission needed to operate the Service for you.

9. Availability

dwwt is a small service and may be unavailable, interrupted or discontinued at any time, with or without notice. Features may change or be removed.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty as to accuracy, reliability or availability.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including reliance on any score, schedule, result or notification. dwwt is free, and our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us, which is nothing, or ten US dollars.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that breaches these Terms or threatens the Service.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date above, and continued use means you accept them.
